God bless you,

Silas
There is so much good in the heart of God
for you. When you did not know Him, He
sent His Son for you. Jesus lived without
sin so that He could offer Himself as a
sacrifice for your sin. He sent forth His
Holy Spirit and drew you to Himself. He
forgave you, cleansed you, restored you,
freed you, and changed you. Today you
are His child and apart of His bride. His
heart is so full of gifts for you it will take all
eternity to shower them upon you. The
grace, the joy, and the blessings that are
yours today are only a taste of the things
to come.
Where would you be today without God's
forgiveness? It is one of the greatest
expressions of His heart toward you.
Without it, a sense of heaviness and
sadness of heart would hang over you. It
would be as a cloud that blocked the
sunshine. Without it, Where would be the
beauty of His face, the joy of His presence,
the song of His grace, and the pleasure of
His company? How could you enjoy the
day or have hope for tomorrow? But think
of it- you are forgiven! The cloud has been
blown away, and the light has come. Guilt
has fled, and peace abides. Heaviness has
been shattered, and the lightness of His
yoke remains. Joy great joy, exceeding
great joy, remains for you today.
"Blessed are they whose transgressions are
forgiven...."    ROMANS 4:7
" In Him we have redemption through His
blood, the forgiveness of sins, in
accordance with the riches of God's
grace."    EPHESIANS 1:7
"He who did not spare His own Son, But
gave Him up for us all. How will He not also,
along with Him, graciously give us all
things?"      ROMANS 8:32
1 JOHN 2:12    "I write to you dear
children, because your sins have
been forgiven on account of His
name."
God's love never fails. Jesus died for our sins
and rose again to bring us that sure and certain
hope. This day, this morning,  every morning
for the rest of your life, your savior will call out
to you in blessing. He will awaken you to his
mercies.

The Lord bless and keep you.
Numbers 6:24

Jesus, anointed by God, look on me in my
daily struggles. Remind me of  your love so
that I may
celebrate your victory. Amen.

Faith in Jesus brings conflict in this world. It will
set you at odds with others: your beliefs may
offend co-workers, friends, even family. Does
the presence of conflict mean the absence of
peace? Has God stopped blessing? No!

To God, some things are still worth fighting for
goodness, truth, life, salvation...you! Jesus did
not come to tolerate sin but to fight it and
forgive it. Though faith creates conflict, Jesus
brings a peace that saves the world.

Jesus, when faith in you brings conflict in my
life,
teach me to trust your peace that saves the
world. Amen.
The Bible contains 66 books, written
by 40 authors, covering a period of
approximately 1,600 years. These
authors came from all walks of life
and include kings, peasants,
prophets, poets, fisherman,
statesmen, scholars, a businessman,
a doctor and a missionary. It is
separated into two major sections,
the dividing place being the birth of
Jesus Christ.

The first section is called the Old
Testament. This portion was written
mostly in Hebrew (with the exception
of a few short passages in Aramaic)
and was completed almost
400 years prior to the birth of Christ.
The New Testament was written in
the Greek language. Our present- day
English Bibles are all translated from
these original languages.

The word Testament actually means
"covenant" or "agreement." The Old
Testament is a record of God's
covenants with man- and points
toward the coming of God's Son,
Jesus. The New Testament is a
record of the fulfillment of that
covenant agreement through Jesus
Christ.         Praise God.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE
FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT?

At the very moment you were born again, the
Holy Spirit took up residence in your life.
However, that does not mean you are "filled"
with the Holt Spirit. To be filled means you are
controlled and empowered. It means you are
relying on the power of God to change your life,
rather trying to do it yourself. Power for living is
yours only when you yield to Him and let Him
control your life. You cannot live the Christian
life in your own through self-determination and
self-discipline. Only Jesus was able yo live a
perfect life: only as He lives in you - through His
Spirit- can you live victoriously. In other words
to be filled with the spirit means to filled with
Jesus.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit  involves a
complete surrender to your will, without
reservation, to the will of God. This is not an
event- it is a process, a continual process. Paul
wrote to his friends in Ephesus and told them to
"Let the Holy Spirit fill and control you"
(Ephesians) 5:18. His language means to be
continually filled. What he is saying is, "be filled,
and filled, and filled, and filled with the Holy
Spirit" Why do we need to keep on being filled
with Holy Spirit? Well, for one thing we often
take back the control of our lives that we had
already yielded to Him. We decide that we want
to be our own master and make our own
decisions. When we do the Holy Spirit is
saddened - that is, the flow of His power through
us is hindered. In order to get this power
restored, we must agree with God that we have
sinned and once again yield our the control of
our lives to His Spirit.    Thank you Holy Spirit.

Jesus paid It all, all to him I owe
sin had let a crimson stain, He
washed it white as snow.
